What you will be doing:
As a Supply Chain Manager at XD Connects, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our supply chain activities to enhance operational efficiency, minimize costs, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and internal teams, to ensure the seamless flow of goods and services throughout the supply chain. Your role will encompass the following key responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and execute the company's supply chain strategy aligned with XD Connects' overall goals and values. Continuously evaluate and enhance the supply chain processes to optimize customer satisfaction, improve reliability and were possible reduce lead times, efficiency, and increase profitability.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate SLA’s, and monitor their performance. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services while adhering to XD Connects' quality standards and sustainability practices.
- Inventory Management: Implement effective inventory control mechanisms to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize stock-outs, and reduce holding costs. Utilize data analytics and forecasting tools to plan and optimize inventory replenishment.
- Logistics and Distribution: Oversee and balance costs and benefits throughout the complete supply chain form suppliers, inbound transportation, warehousing, printing operations and outbound distribution activities to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery of products. Collaborate with logistics partners to streamline processes, optimize transportation routes, and monitor service levels.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the supply chain, with focus on customer satisfaction improvements, process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities. Implement best practices, automation, and innovative technologies to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions in the availability of raw materials, transportation delays, or regulatory compliance issues. Develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity and minimize the impact of potential disruptions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, manufacturing, sales, and customer service, to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives. Foster effective communication and coordination to ensure a seamless flow of information and materials across departments.
- ESG and Social Responsibility: Integrate low impact practices and ethical considerations into the supply chain, such as responsible sourcing, waste reduction, and carbon footprint reduction. Work closely with suppliers to promote low impact initiatives and ensure compliance with XD Connects' environmental and social responsibility standards.
